It is easy to why umpteen British are drawn to the town, with its famous nightlife and the choice of amusement on offer, but the close proximity of Tignes permits you to venture out to less busy climes if it all becomes all too much.
Pros
A superb night out in France. Easily accessible from Geneva airport. Everybody understands English. Quick entrance to both Val d’Isre and Tignes known collectively as the the Espace Killy skiing area. There’s lots of traffic and whilst there are many buses during the day, committed party animmals ought aim to be within a short distance from the centre.
Cons
Overpriced. Hectic and fashionable with English skiers, and so not for those wanting a classic French resort to relish a stress free trip. Many skiing lifts can shut in inclement weather conditions. Some difficult blue and green trails.
