Litigation is a very expensive process. Often, an individual’s meager savings and investments will not be sufficient to fight a case. They have to depend on other sources for funds. At such a time, litigation financing companies offer Litigation Loans. These are not loans in the literal sense of the word. Litigation Loans are in fact advances or investments that are offered to the individual involved in litigation. The funds are a source of help in the difficult time of the individual.
At the same time, Litigation Loans are non-recourse in nature. In other words, the company recovers the advance, a share, from the final settlement funds of the individual. If the settlement dues are not a huge sum or if the individual loses the case, the company stands the loss too. There are Litigation Loans that are personal or true loans. These loans are of recourse nature. Very few companies offer such types of loans and fewer individuals prefer them. In such type of loans, the individual has to avail for a loan based on his sources of income, credits, bank balances, house and other financial means. The institution or company ensuring recovery possibilities will sanction the loan. Not only does the individual have to stick to the terms and conditions of the company, but also has to make a monthly payment too. Even if the individual loses the case the company recovers the loan amount.
A non-recourse Litigation Loan is called as a loan to avoid being charged excessive interest by the state laws. These investments are decided upon by the company based on the type of litigation the individual is fighting for. For instance, the litigation financing for personal injury will be different from accident cases. The fund is finalized on the basis of the evaluation of the case. It is always wise to approach the litigation financing companies through a hired expert attorney. The attorney who is a specialist in similar cases will be able to help the individual get the right amount as a Litigation Loan. For instance, as a layman an accident victim is not aware about the recovery settlements. The company he resorts to may offer him a cheap Litigation Loan. This may profit the company, but the victim will not get his right dues for the damages caused.
Litigation Financing provides detailed information about litigation financing, commercial litigation financing, litigation cash advances, litigation financing companies and more. Litigation Financing is the sister site of Lawsuit Funding Companies.

Chapter 13 bankruptcy allows individuals to restructure their debt, finances and assets in a fashionable manner in order to compensate their creditors, and pay off their debts. The individual will propose to pay the creditors over a period of time (usually 3-5 years). During this period of time the creditors can’t collect on any previously incurred debt without the permission of the bankruptcy court. The individual is then able to keep their property and the creditors will end up with less money than they are owed.
Chapter 13 has a few advantages over Chapter 7. One of the most immediate advantages is the ability to stop foreclosure. In addition you can sometimes prevent collection against co-signers during the life of the case.
One of the major disadvantages of Chapter 13 bankruptcy is that the record stays on the individual’s credit report for ten years. In order to achieve a new line of credit the individual must first get permission from the Chapter 13 Trustee. It also presents the problem where creditors might not want to loan money to an individual of this nature.
Legal consultation is often necessary in order to effectively oversee your Chapter 13 bankruptcy case. Professional bankruptcy attorneys can provide you with the experience and dedication required to take complete advantage of the situation and make sure you are not over-paying your creditors.

If being denied a legal defense, convicted on a prosecutor’s case alone without being allowed to present his case, and having key defense evidence completely ignored isn’t enough outrage and wrongful enough to be considered violating one’s civil rights, then let’s add limiting visit times from 8 hours on Sundays to just 25 minutes, denial of a 2 hour pastoral visit, death threats from drunken guards, and physical separation from human contact to the heap. The 25 minute limit is even more shocking when it is revealed that it was Alden’s mother who flew in from England who was denied a full visit! Craig Eliot is suffering in his prison cell in central, rural Brazil.
The limiting of the mother’s visit? This should raise eyebrows all around the world. Tony Blair, where are you? Jack Straw, where have you run off to? President Lula, just exactly what is going through your mind to allow this ridiculous travesty of justice and civil rights abuse to continue to have a life of its own in your country?
This is a grand opportunity for South America’s strongest economic power to step up, admit they made a mistake, and do the right thing, yet they delay, stall, and remain confused and bedazzled on just exactly what should done to move things along.
There is an old US Civil War story that has several union generals on horseback at a river bank discussing and speculating just exactly how deep a river was that the army was about to
cross. After some time, a bold young officer lost his patience and rode his horse out into the river, and with the water level acceptable for a ford declared, “This generals…this is how deep the river is.”
This is what President Lula must do. He must say to the world “This is how we make a wrong into a right in Brasil”, and then sign the document releasing Craig Eliot Alden.

There are a number of situations in life when you have to
decide whether to hire a lawyer. For instance, if you’re
purchasing a house or having trouble paying your bills,
hiring a lawyer may not be a necessity, but it’s a good
idea nonetheless. However, if you’ve been charged with
driving under the influence, assault, or some other crime,
hiring a criminal lawyer is mandatory. You’ll want to make
sure that your legal rights are protected throughout the
entire judicial process.
But where do you begin, when you’re hoping to hire a
qualified criminal lawyer? One of the best ways to find an
effective attorney is to consult with your family and
friends. There is nothing better than a personal
recommendation, especially one that comes from someone who
is close to you. However, there are times when it might be
difficult to obtain a personal referral. In those
situations, you might consider consulting the local bar
association or an Internet site such as lawyers.com. The
Internet, in fact, can provide a wealth of information
about individual lawyers. For instance, you can find out
about a lawyer’s level of expertise in criminal law,
biographical information, whether the lawyer is in good
standing with the bar, and other pertinent facts. In
addition, online archives of your local newspaper might
include articles about cases that a particular lawyer has
tried. You’ll want to hire a lawyer with plenty of
experience in the area of criminal law involved in your
case, whether it be traffic offenses, drug crimes, or white
collar crimes.
The next step is contacting the lawyer’s office. If an
attorney cannot meet with you on short notice, don’t count
the lawyer out. Effective lawyers are quite busy, so, if a
lawyer is short on time, that may actually be a positive
sign. Pay close attention to how your call is handled by
the lawyer’s staff. The staff should be courteous and be
willing to answer all of your questions.
You should be aware of the fact that criminal defense
lawyers tend to charge by the hour. As an alternative,
they may charge a flat fee up front. Generally speaking,
rules of professional conduct bar a lawyer from charging a
contingency fee for a criminal case. Since legal fees can
vary, you might want to engage in some comparison shopping.
However, be advised that the better lawyers tend to charge
more for their services. Since your freedom and reputation
are at stake, you should invest in the best lawyer you can
afford.
Given the fact that criminal cases are often settled
through plea agreements with a district attorney’s office,
it can be important for a criminal lawyer to be on good
terms with the D.A. Certainly, good relations between the
two can only enhance your case. Therefore, you’ll want a
lawyer who has fairly regular contact with the prosecuting
attorney in the county in which your case resides. Also,
it’s a good idea if you hire a lawyer who is affiliated
with a group such as the National Association of Criminal
Defense Lawyers. Such an association shows that your
lawyer wants to keep abreast of new developments in the
area of criminal law.
Prior to hiring a criminal lawyer, be sure to ask for
references. You’ll want to know how clients view the
attorney’s expertise. You should also obtain a copy of the
law firm’s brochure, so you have a clear understanding of
the outfit you’re dealing with. It is also vitally
important that you obtain a copy of the lawyer’s retainer
agreement so that you’re aware of any up-front costs
involved in obtaining legal representation.
In the end, you’ll want to select a lawyer that you’re
comfortable with, one that truly understands your case and
can work well on your behalf. You’ll find that an
effective criminal attorney is well worth his or her fee.

If you don’t know about gaming establishment card-playing, read on. Typically, a gambling saloon is an edifice that accomodates gambling. Aficionados will bet by challenging slot machines or alternative games of luck. Gaming room games by and large include mathematically derived percentages constituting them that insure the gambling hall keeps possession of an edge versus the clientele.
A huge number of betting room games can get you obsessed very swiftly. Take the standard 1-armed bandit, a coin gobbling box with 3 plus cylinders which swivel when a lever affixed to it is tugged. The contraption typically pays in accord with a distribution of designs perceptible on the screen of the gadget. Regretfully, gambling saloon pastimes will convey the false impression of remaining in control, thus conning the gaming fan — the victim is conceded judgments, but in reality these do not level the player’s longterm disadvantage. That is brought about by the the casino never paying up the full amount as expected. This structured arrangement is notoriously seen at work in famous casino games like five card stud, dice, roulette or blackjack.
Seven card stud poker is indeed a very popular casino game. The guests, playing with partially covered cards, will bet in the pot that is finally awarded to the prevailing gamester carrying the best hand. (And as eveyone knows, the bluffing hand may actually win too…) Quite like seven-card stud poker, blackjack too is a very trendy casino pastime. A generous portion of its reputation is a result of its peculiar mix of luck and cunning and decision making, not to mention a praxis labeled “counting”. This is an approach by which gambling aficionados can dramatically change the winning odds of the game for their own good by both wagering & tactical decisions in agreement with the cards dealt.
Craps is a well-known gambling hall game involving the roll of dice. Gamblers are placing bets on the outcome of of 1 roll, or on a sequence of spins of two dice. Dissimilar to blackjack, there’s no realistic sustainable winning betting system you could play on to ramp up the odds. Roulette is a notable game of chance — a croupier twists a roulette wheel which encloses exactly 37 (European roulette) or, alternatively thirtyeight (Vegas roulette) uniquely tagged pockets in which the rolling ball will then come to settle, thereby revealing the winner as well as the other chances that will always go along with it. Whenever our gamer has bet on a specific number and makes it so they are actually in luck, the guaranteed premium is going to be thirty five to one, the initial pledge will be tossed back. Accordingly in total the original pledge is increased by 36.
Attempt to be very cautious for all that for these gambling house games are deemed very dependency building. There’s a whole lot of lives that have been damaged in the course of gambling and much as it indeed may be enjoyable, attempt to govern your gaming.

The number of people riding motorcycles has been steadily increasing for the past 10 years, and accordingly the number of motorcycle accident casualties and fatalities has also been rising.
Motorcyclists are extremely vulnerable compared to car drivers, and are 16 times more likely to suffer death or serious injury on the roads. There were 6,361 serious personal injury motorcycle accidents in 1999, with 547 motorcyclists killed. The number of motorcycle accident fatalities has risen in recent years, up to 602 to 2002.
When are motorcycle accidents most likely to occur? Most motorcycle accidents occur in the spring and summer months, when thousands of fair-weather riders dust off their bikes and take to the roads. July has the highest motorcycle accident casualty rate, with 2,876 motorcycling casualties in 1999, followed closely by August, June and May.
Motorcycle accidents follow the same pattern of occurrence as car accidents with regard to the most likely day and time for them to happen. Friday is the most likely day for a motorcycle accident to occur, probably owing to all motorists driving faster and being careless in an attempt to get home faster.
Rush hour poses the greatest risk to motorcyclists, with 7-9 am and 4-6 pm being peaks for motorcycle accidents on weekdays, whereas at weekends there is a more equal spread of motorcycle accidents across the whole day.
Where are motorcycle accidents most likely to occur? London is the place where most motorcycle accidents occur in the UK, with accident records showing it as having the greatest number of motorcycle accident casualties who have suffered serious or fatal injury, as well as the highest number of casualties with slight injuries.
In an international study, Eire was found as being by far the most dangerous place for motorcyclists, with 28 fatalities per 10,000 bikers.
Motorcycle accidents are most likely to occur in built up areas, which account for around 72% of casualties. However, these accidents are not usually as severe as those which happen on non built up roads, which see 60% of motorcycle accident fatalities. Single carriageway A – roads are the most dangerous for motorcyclists due to a mix of factors, such as sharp bends, unexpected hazards, and higher speed limits than in built up areas.
How do most motorcycle accidents occur? In rural areas, a motorcycle accident is more likely to be the fault of the rider, whereas in built up areas, other road users are more often to blame. For example, London statistics show that 60% of motorcycle accidents were caused by car drivers and pedestrians, whereas Cheshire accident records show that 67% of motorcycle accidents were caused by rider error.
When the accident is the fault of the rider, it is often caused by excess speed. Taking bends too fast causes around 15% of all motorcycle accidents, and the group of bikers who most frequently crash in such a manner are 26-30 year olds on sports bikes, riding for pleasure. Overtaking accidents on rural roads also account for a large proportion of motorcycle accidents where the rider is at fault.
When the motorcycle accident is the fault of another driver, the most common reason for it is that the motorcyclist was not seen by person who caused the accident. These are known as “smidsy” accidents, which stands for “sorry mate, I didn’t see you”, and a campaign to alert car drivers to smidsy accident blackspots has been running in South Gloucestershire to help reduce this type of accident.
Right of way violations that result in a motorcycle accident generally occur at junctions, and over 80% of them are found to be caused by the other road user. Drivers failing to notice motorcyclists, misjudging their speed, and having their view restricted by road furniture are the most common causes of right of way violations.
What to do if injured in a motorcycle accident If you are injured in a motorcycle accident that was not your fault, you may well be able to make an accident compensation claim. It is best to take advantage of any free legal advice offered by reputable personal injury firms so you can make an informed decision of whether to proceed.

In the case of Chouafi v London United Busways Ltd [2005], the claimant was employed as a bus driver by the defendant company. In October 2003, he was diagnosed with severe depression and was signed off work until February 2004. He was dismissed in January 2004 on the grounds of his medical condition and complained to the employment tribunal of unfair dismissal and disability discrimination.
The Employment Rights Act 1996 provides that an employment tribunal shall not consider a complaint for unfair dismissal unless it is presented to the tribunal within three months of the effective date of termination of employment. However this three-month limitation period may be extended if the tribunal considers that in the relevant case, it was not reasonably practicable for the complaint to be presented within the three months. There are similar provisions under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
The tribunal decided that:-
The complaint of unfair dismissal had not been presented within the three-month time limit, pursuant to s 111 of the Employment Rights Act 1996;
The complaint of disability discrimination had not been presented within the three-month time limit, pursuant to the para 3 Schedule 3 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995; and
Accordingly, the tribunal did not have jurisdiction to hear the claims.
The employee appealed to the Employment Appeal Tribunal (“EAT”) against the decision. The EAT held that:-
Decisions on whether or not a claim would be admitted out of time, for unfair dismissal or disability discrimination, were essentially questions of facts on which the tribunal should decide based upon the evidence submitted by the parties;
The onus of proof was on the claimant to show it was not reasonably practicable to bring an action within the three-month time limit;
If the claimant failed to discharge that burden of proof, his/her case would inevitably fail;
In this case, the claimant failed to attend the hearing and provide more evidence about his mental health; and
The Tribunal was right in concluding that the employee had failed to provide an adequate explanation for filing his claim outside the time limit; and
The tribunal’s decision would be upheld.
The claimant’s appeal was therefore dismissed.

Crow’s feet, wrinkles, arthritis — all these and more are the hallmarks of aging. And with a large part of the baby boom generation starting to reach retirement age, anti aging natural supplements are in high demand. Aging is a natural process, and most of us want to reach a ripe old age in a healthy condition. What we don’t like are the effects that we see and feel as the cells become less healthy and as the organs decrease in function. And this is why many of us think popping a pill or several pills becomes necessary as we grow older.
One thing you have to remember is that anti aging natural supplements are not magic solutions that will keep you looking eternally youthful. What they will help do is help keep the cells healthy, promote intracellular communication, so that the body functions smoothly and become resistant to diseases. You will still age, but you will look good as you do so — and in a lot of cases, you may even look young for your age. Most importantly, you will look and feel healthy. Just remember that anti aging natural supplements will work best if you eat nutritious foods, exercise regularly, get enough sleep, and follow a healthy lifestyle.
Many anti aging supplements contain antioxidants, which play a major role in keeping us healthy and looking young. Everyday we are exposed to substances called free radicals, which damage the cells and cause the emergence of diseases. Vitamins and minerals play a key role in defending the body from these free radicals, and many supplements provide us with the vitamins and minerals that are missing from our daily meals. Vitamin E, for instance, is a powerful antioxidant that keeps the skin looking supple and young, and it protects the body’s fatty cells from free radicals as well. Vitamins C and B are likewise important antioxidants which we should be getting in adequate amounts each day. The members of the family of B vitamins are especially helpful in battling stress; and anyone knows that the less stressed you are, the younger you look and feel. Remember, however that some vitamins can cause side effects if taken in excessive doses; you should read the supplement labels and consult your primary physician regarding appropriate dosages for you.
Some natural supplements contain herbal ingredients that have been proven to be very effective in countering the effects of aging. Green tea extract, for instance, is particularly helpful since certain studies show that it is more potent as an antioxidant than vitamins C and E combined. It contains substances like flavonols and catechins, which are very good for disease prevention. Some supplements containing herbs like golden root or rhodiola rosea belong to a category called adaptogens, which are effective in relieving stress and promoting a more youthful aura. Ginseng is another herb that can be called an adaptogenic herb. Many other herbs have anti-aging benefits. These include polygonum, which promotes the body’s production of an antioxidant called superoxide dismutase; schisandra helps the liver flush out toxins and is another anti-stress agent; and gynostemma, a Chinese tonic herb, promotes cardiovascular health and blood flow to keep the skin looking young and healthy.
Another popular ingredient in many anti aging natural supplements is a hormone called Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). DHEA occurs naturally in the body, but levels decline sharply with age. Once this happens, a condition known as metabolic syndrome may occur. Some symptoms of this disorder include an increase in cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which can lead to complications such as diabetes, stroke, and myocardial infarction. Taking a DHEA supplement will result in numerous anti aging benefits over time. It can relieve stress, increase lean muscle mass and strength, boost the immune system, sharpen mental clarity, promote weight loss, increase antioxidant enzymes in the liver, and enhance sexual performance.
Anti aging natural supplements are available in pill, liquid, or powder form and sold under many brand names. Most of them have a preventive effect in addition to keeping the body’s systems functioning in optimum condition and to hold back the negative effects of aging. But just because they are readily available does not mean you can indiscriminately just buy any that takes your fancy. Be an informed and wise consumer; talk the subject over with your physician first and become informed about the advantages and disadvantages of certain supplements before you make your choice.

. Yet despite this label it still gets overshadowed by creatine, whey protein, and lately, nitric acid.
One of 22 Glutamine is one of the 22 amino acids that make up protein in the human body. Until scientists started taking a close look, amino acids were considered either essential or nonessential. Essential amino acids cannot be made by the body and must be consumed in the diet. Nonessential amino acids are those that can be manufactured from other amino acids. Glutamine doesn’t fit neatly into one of these categories. In fact the term “conditionally essential” is used, as while the body can manufacture it from other amino acids, there are times when demands outstrip supplies. For bodybuilders, glutamine’s primary role is combating the various stresses brought on by overtraining.
Overtraining is one of the biggest problems facing bodybuilders. The condition occurs when intense training is followed by inadequate rest periods. Instead of new muscle tissue being rebuilt, existing muscle tissue may be utilized as a fuel source. Glutamine can combat this by keeping the body in what’s called positive nitrogen balance. Essentially for protein to be turned into muscle tissue, nitrogen levels must be high. If they drop, muscle wasting can occur.
Intense exercise also causes the release of such catabolic hormones as corticosteroids. These compounds contribute to the depletion of muscle glutamine levels by increasing the release of glutamine from muscle cells. These catabolic steroids can cause glutamine levels to drop even after exercise has stopped. The result is that the muscle becomes severely glutamine depleted.
Supplementing with glutamine has been shown to keep the body in positive nitrogen balance as well as fight the muscle wasting effects of corticosteroid release.
Immunity system booster
Another benefit of glutamine is its role as an immunity system booster. Most bodybuilders will admit that they catch colds and flues a lot easier when they train hard but don’t rest properly. Glutamine can help prevent this because it serves as a precursor to many of the immunity system’s anti-viral and anti-bacterial cells. In fact hospital patients, particularly burn victims, are routinely given glutamine to help fight off infection.
Is it safe?
Like creatine, there have been few side effects attributed to glutamine usage. A few users report gastric, upset but this is usually caused by taking the full 10 to 20 gram dosage all at once. It makes far more sense to spread the daily dosage over smaller but more numerous dosages.
Given its relatively low cost, safety, proven anticatabolic properties, immunity boosting abilities, and great track record in combating overtraining, bodybuilders would be wise to experiment with glutamine.
The previous information has been created by experts to help you increase your knowledge base about bodybuilding supplements. Be knowledgeable. Be informed. Make the right choice!
