The laptop computer business has gone from strength to strength in recent times. So enormous demand but minute supply according to what manufacturers are forcasting. Many have forcasted laptops to be trendy but its surprising that theres been no slip. New devices are coming out all the time that litterally create new niches in the laptop computer market.
Gaming laptops are one of the variations that have seen growing interest. Because of the increasing production and speedy shifts it means important parts are less in price than before. With the development of dual core cpus, notebooks are up to the the task of gaming. Past obstactles with enormous, over heating laptops for gaming are vanishing and new slimmer, slicker products are being launched. Even though gaming laptops have improved in numerous areas, in terms of raw performance they still cannot contend with desktops. Everyone always craves to squeeze insane amounts of performance from compact packages so I would think thats where gaming laptops are destined.
I think need for custom laptop computers will always be here. Usually performance parts go into these notebooks. I like the idea that you can on occasions even ask for what parts you want. Premade notebooks are designed for common activies and not upto doing more specialised things. For the niche users, custom laptops fill the void. Resellers who trade custom laptops usually offer a greater personalised and local service too. Yet again another coudos to custom laptops.
Plenty of cool portables are being launched in the coming months. Notebooks simply for accessing the net etc are being released in the market wave after wave. This market is already receiving tough competition and is getting full. I personally think that we are going to see ultra light 15 inch laptops very quickly as well. If we skip out processing speed I’m sure we’d witness those versions of laptops today. I’m guessing how long before we see gaming ultra portables. Manufacturers are always looking to distinguish themselves in this tough market so that keeps things developing.
